Meet the JS Bridgwater artists
Meet Jo.
My name is Jo Bridgwater. I was born in England but emigrated to New Zealand when I was 12 years old.
I have always had an interest in art and loved drawing and making things when I was young.
In high school I did bursaries in photography and painting and was able to get accepted into Auckland University of Technology (AUT) doing a Bachelor of Art and Design.
I began my degree in 2001 and finished at the end of 2004 with my major being in photography. Since then I have taken part in several exhibitions.
My interests are in photography painting and drawing. Other areas of interest for me are in crafts, beading and felting.

Meet Terri.
My name is Terri Bridgwater born and raised in England then emigrated to New Zealand in 1994 with my husband and two children.
I learned to knit and sew as a child. As I grew older I enjoyed designing, making and knitting my own clothing.
When I had Children I made items for them. Now I have grandchildren and I am retired so I can spend my time making things for them whenever I like.
I now plan to start making and designing things for sale so all can enjoy my work.
My interests and skills are in spinning fleece, knitting, dying wool and other fibers to use in my work, designing clothing to sew and knit, embroidery and quilting.
